JuriSearch is pleased to offer Public Records to its subscribers. This is public information obtained directly from governmental entities or from reputable third parties that have compiled the information from governmental agencies.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

In order to access JuriSearch's Public Records database, you must be a subscriber to JuriSearch, and you must establish a prepaid account via credit card. The cost of each search will be charged against the prepaid account at the time of the search.  NOTE: Even customers who are signed up for a free trial will be charged for Public Records searches.

HOW MUCH DOES A SEARCH COST?

Depending on the database you are searching, costs range from $1 per search to $15 per search no matter how many hits. Prices are subject to change. There's no charge for a search that yields zero results with the sole exception of the LA Municipal Criminal database. If you choose to search the LA Municipal Criminal database, you will be charged whether or not your search yields results.

On the other hand, you can use our Ultimate Weapon Search - a preliminary search indicating where you are likely to find more information - for only $1! This is a way of pre-searching our databases to determine where you are likely to find additional information - before you spend any money on a specific search.

WHAT IF THERE ARE TOO MANY "HITS" TO BE USEFUL?

If a search results in too many hits - over 500 - then you will not be charged for that search and you will automatically be prompted to narrow your search. If you choose to search the LA Municipal Criminal database, you will be charged whether or not your search results in any hits or in too many hits.

The "Ultimate Weapon" is a master index to the JuriSearch Public Records, Investigator's New Business Filings, LA Municipal Criminal, and National Address Locator databases. This search allows you to enter a word or words and find all occurrences of the word(s) in every database currently online. By using the Ultimate Weapon, you can pre-search all of our databases for no charge.

If you click on any of the "hits" from the Ultimate Weapon results page, you will enter that database and be charged for that search.

California Superior Civil Indexes ($6.00 per search)

This data, updated monthly, comes directly from the individual counties and contains filings of court cases listing all plaintiffs, defendants, and date of filing. Every word in this database is indexed.   You can limit each search by county or search all counties at once.

Counties available: Fresno, Kern, Los Angeles, Marin, Orange, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, San Mateo, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, and Ventura.

Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties include probate as well as Civil and Domestic. Orange County records contain only Civil and Domestic. San Diego county includes Probate, Civil, Domestic and Mental Health records.

The listed charges include up to 500 hits per search. If you get more than 500 hits, you will not be charged, and you will automatically be prompted to narrow your search.

Updated monthly, this database contains information on individuals and businesses licensed by the state to engage in a specific professional activity.

The Contractors data contains information on active and inactive contractors licensed in California. The 35 state licensing bureaus administered by the Bureau of Consumer Affairs in this database are:

All license types are searched for one charge. The listed charges include up to 500 hits per search. If you get more than 500 hits, you will not be charged, and you will automatically be prompted to narrow your search.

Each year, all corporations are required to file with the Secretary of State a list of corporate officers, office addresses and other information. Such corporations are subject to corporation taxes administered by the Franchise Tax Board. Sole proprietorships are not required to provide documentation and are not included in this data. When a revised Statement of Officers is filed with the Secretary of State, JuriSearch adds the revision without purging the old record. This gives you valuable historical information other vendors may not provide. This file is updated weekly.

The California Corporations and Limited Partnerships database is a powerful tool to research an individual who is involved with numerous separate corporations and/or limited partnerships. This database can also be used to verify the existence and names of principal officers of a company in which you are interested in doing business. The ability to search by address will also give you a list of multiple businesses operating from the same address.

Corporations and Limited Partnerships are searched simultaneously, eliminating the need to run two separate searches. When this database is used along with our Fictitious Business Names Indexes and Professional Licenses from the Department of Consumer Affairs, you can compile a good professional background picture on an individual involved in numerous activities.

The California Board of Equalization and Alcohol Beverage Control database contains the master file of California sales and use tax licenses and the entire California Alcohol Beverage Control database.

The Board of Equalization database includes all individuals and companies that collect sales tax in the state of California, including inactive records from 1990.

Unlike other similar BOE databases, the JuriSearch BOE database is searchable by partial name, full name, address, business name or account number. New updates are added to our database without purging old information. The database is updated monthly.

The Alcohol Beverage Control database includes all individuals and companies that have a license to sell liquor.   Information supplied also indicates whether the business is a corporation, partnership or sole proprietorship. This information comes to us from the California Board of Equalization.

California Statewide Fictitious Business Names now includes all 58 California Counties. This database contains information on filings that reflect the intent of an individual or company to conduct business under a fictitious name. They are filed at the County Recorder’s Office and must be renewed every five years.

This FBN data is compiled from information gathered at the county level. Since different counties maintain their data at different levels of proficiency, the information will vary from county to county.

The database is updated monthly. Search all of the counties at once, or limit your search to a particular county, city, address or zip code. Many counties include the owner’s residence address and phone numbers.

The California UCC Index contains over 7,400,000 records from 1965 to current. An excellent source of social security numbers, spouse’s and partner’s names, etc., the UCC Index also includes Federal Tax Liens on businesses; State Tax Liens from the Franchise Tax Board, State Board of Equalization and Department of Employment; Judgment Liens and Attachment Liens. The database is updated weekly.

Due to the complexity and nature of this database, not all records contain Social Security Numbers or Federal ID Numbers. The listed charges include up to 500 hits per search. If you get more than 500 hits, you will not be charged, and you will automatically be prompted to narrow your search.

The California Criminal Index contains court filing information from the following list of counties in the state of California: (Search the following indexes at once) Fresno, Superior Criminal for Los Angeles, Marin, Orange, Riverside, Sacramento, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, San Mateo, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara and Ventura Counties; Municipal Criminal for Marin, Riverside, Sacramento, San Diego, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Ventura Counties.

The database is updated monthly. However, information supplied from each county varies (see below), as do the "through" dates of the information.

This database includes the complete statewide ownership file and historical property transfer records from January 1, 1994 forward including many First Trust Deed Holders and the amount of the First Trust Deed. Some property records contain hundreds and even thousands of owner and seller names. This database is updated monthly.

This database contains the State Registrar’s Index of all marriages in the state of California from 1960 to 1985. As the state no longer sells the index, the file has not been updated since 1985. Each record contains the husband’s name and age, wife’s maiden name and age, date of marriage and county.

This is the only place to get Los Angeles Municipal Criminal records. It includes all LA Municipal Criminal Court cases filed in the last five years. The database is updated monthly. You may search by name, case number, and district.
